Ty Gomez


Ty Gomez is a native Texan with over 24 years of litigation experience. Since 1992, Ty’s Dallas, Texas based practice has included a diverse assortment of civil cases in state and federal courts in Texas. He also has appellate experience and has argued before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. His varied practice and the diversity of the companies and individuals he has represented, both as plaintiff and defendant, give him a unique perspective as an attorney providing realistic, common sense advice to his clients. He believes that one of the greatest services he can provide his clients is an honest, frank opinion that isn’t always what his client wants to hear, but, is instead, what his client needs to hear.

Mr. Maedgen honed his trial skills during many years as an assistant district attorney in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He has more than a hundred cases in various counties throughout the State of Texas. He is also an experienced civil trial attorney. Being the lead trial lawyer in personal injury cases has provided Mr. Maedgen with valuable insight into jury trial strategy, cross-examination, and expert testimony. Some of his more notable cases have been covered by the media, both television and print, including: The Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star Telegram, WFAA Channel 8, KTVT Channel 11, KXAS Channel 5, FDFW Fox 4 news, and Fox News.
